The skills are free. The kit is the part that works.

  • Set up together

Five skills that normally fight over the same files, configured to cooperate.

  • One command

One install puts every skill, setting and file where Claude Code expects it.

  • The recipe

Step by step: what to type, what each skill does, where it goes wrong.

  • A finished example

A real animated site built with the kit, so you can see the end before you start.

Going into the kit

Planned contents. The kit is being built now.

Every skill keeps its license and its author’s name, with a link to the original. You pay for the setup and the recipe, never for someone else’s work.

The whole catalog

Every skill we track, with what it does, its numbers, its license and whether it has been security-scanned.

Picked and tested by Luka.

I build LLM evaluation tooling for a living and try new Claude Code skills every week. The radar tracks what’s rising; the kits are what survived real use.

Questions

Why pay if the skills are free?

You don’t pay for the skills. You pay to skip the setup: making five skills cooperate, the one-command install, the recipe and the finished example. The skills stay free on GitHub.

Is it fair to the skill authors?

Every kit ships each skill unchanged, with its license and copyright notice, credits the author and links the original. We only package skills whose licenses allow it.

Are these skills safe to install?

Skills marked "Scanned" went through two open-source security scanners. A flag means something worth a human look, like running commands, not proof of harm. Scanners miss things, so read a skill before you install it.

When does the kit ship?

It’s being built now. Join the waitlist and you’ll get it at the launch price the day it’s out.

Who runs Practical Dept?

Luka. The company behind it is Audacity DOO in Belgrade, Serbia.
